And an accident of far, far lesser magnitude, shows the causal craziness of any average early morning on Belize City Streets. This collision happened at 2:45 AM on Saturday morning at the corner of Albert and Dean Streets, and it was captured on the Channel 7 security camera. The white Nissan Rogue failed to stop at the intersection of Dean and Albert, colliding with what looks to be a Dalla Van transporting female casino workers. The van had the right of way.
The collision bumped the Rogue which spun out unto the other side of Dean Street, then just sped off from the scene of the accident he caused.
So far, police sources tell us no police report has shown up. Cops were on foot patrol in the area - and arrived shortly after.
