A video circulating on social media has left the public enraged. Security camera footage shows a man on a motorcycle pushing and kicking a young child. In the first part of the video, he throws the child off the motorcycle and slaps him so hard he falls down. The child gets up again and is visibly scared. The man then hits him again and he falls to the street again. Eventually a woman intervenes.
In the second part of the video, the same man is seen kicking and hitting the child again, both with his hand and with other objects. The child climbs onto the motorcycle and the man continues to slap him multiple times.
Police acted quickly and have since arrested and charged 33-year-old Devain Flores Sr, a security guard at the National Sports Council, who is a relative of the child. To protect the child's identity, we cannot specify the relationship.
He was arraigned in court this morning, where he pleaded not guilty. He is now out on bail of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount. He must stay 100 yards away from the victim and his family. In the past he was charged for wounding his common law wife.
