On Monday we told you about the charges against Doris Grant, the Port Loyola resident who was dragged before the court to answer to 40 counts relating to alleged land fraud amounting - police say - to $120,000 swindled from a woman who says she paid her money but never got the land.
Well, one day after she was arraigned police went to her farm in Sandhill where she is alleging tonight - they pried open her burglar barred door and ransacked the house - on an unauthorized search because she wasn't there. She calls it burglary and we asked her what police are looking for:
Doris Grant, Police Broke Into Her Home
"So I went there, and when I went there, the doors, the first door to enter the veranda was opened, and the second door was also open, and they entered the house. And I did a quick video. I didn't touch anything and that's when I saw that they had searched the house without my permission. And so I said, well, this is wrong what they did. And I messaged Chester, and I told him a voice message, and I sent him the pictures and he told me to go to the police station and make a report because he knows nothing about this."
Jules Vasquez
"What would they be looking for in your house? You said they broke in and went through the whole house."

Doris Grant, Police Broke Into Her Home
"Well, sir, you will then have to ask the police, because I don't know what they're looking for."
Jules Vasquez
"I asked the commissioner, and he knows nothing of the operation."
Doris Grant, Police Broke Into Her Home
"Well, I don't know myself what they're looking there for, but that is wrong what they had done to my property."
"If they wanted to go and search, they know me. They know where I live. They could have come to my house and said, Miss Grant, we have a warrant. We want to go and search. And I would have opened the house."
"Why would they just go there and broke up the house without letting me know that they're in my house? That's theft, that's burglary. Unless the bigger people involved and sent them at my house because if Chester is the bigger person and the bigger boss and he don't know, then who knows then?"
Jules Vasquez
"Somebody really wants something out of you, Miss Grant."
Doris Grant, Police Broke Into Her Home
"Well, then you will have to ask them and ask the higher authorities since Mr. Chester don't know, then it would only be a minister. So then you will have to ask the minister."
Jules Vasquez
"You alluded to ask the minister. Are there larger forces at play here, Miss Grant?"
Doris Grant, Police Broke Into Her Home
"Well, at this point, that is what I think, that ministers are involved because how, if you are the commissioner and they are below you, how they can go and broke up my premisses and he does not know."
