A police search of Doris Grant's home on Reggae Street in the Port Loyola area didn't finish until almost 9:00 last night. A team of officers led by Deputy Commissioner Richard Rosado entered the home around four PM and searched for 5 hours. They eventually left with a trove of documents and a chest. Grant told us that many of the documents are for her daughters or their boyfriends, and have nothing to do with her.

Police sources say that they did gather some useful evidential material.

This is the second home belonging to Doris Grant which police have searched in a week. Information suggests that they are trying to build a case alleging massive land fraud where a group of Mennonites from Shipyard claim they gave Grant as much as 5 million dollars to secure lands which they never got title for.

Grant claims she is being targeted as part of a wider conspiracy.
