If you follow the news you may remember the Maia James story. The 26 year old mother of two survived a shot to the head when the man she was with, 32-year-old Roy Lee Burgess was killed in a car on the Placencia Road.

James needed multiple life saving surgeries to get back to stability but somehow she survived. And she also positively identified the key suspect and alleged triggerman Ellis Meighan - who went into hiding and recently turned up trying to enter the USA illegally.

He is being held at a detention center in San Diego pending deportation to Belize. But Maia James is talking out tonight. She told her story of how she survived a shot to the head to a social media platform named "Trappin Anonymous". She says she was with Burgess who was friendly with Meighan and offered him a ride to a hotel named Finca outside of the village. That's where Meighan allegedly shot him - here is how she narrates it:

James alleges that someone orchestrated the hit on Burgess out of jealousy. She says she is prepared to testify in a trial. Police confirm that Meighan remains in US custody and they are trying to have him deported.
