House Burns, No One Hurt In PG Fire

No one was hurt when fire destroyed a home last night in Punta Gorda town. It happened around 9:00 pm on Far West Street. Multiple reports say the response of the Dire Department was effective and it kept the fire from spreading.

Reports also suggest that it could have been prompted by a personal rivalry and that the homeowner was on lockdown at the time. But that is unconfirmed and the Fire Department is investigating.
