Senator Faber Will Go To Trial For Agg Assault Of Cop In September

UDP Senator Patrick Faber will have his day in court - after an early morning run in with police that happened in April.

He appeared in Magistrate's Court today where he was told he will stand trial on September 16, 2025 for obstructing and assaulting a police officer whilst in the execution of his duties.

47 year old Faber was provided with disclosure of 23 pages and a video disc.

Faber is being represented by Attorney Orson "OJ" Elrington.

The allegations against Faber is that on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 on Bay Street in Belize City, he obstructed PC Dante Smith. Faber was additionally accused of committing and aggravated assault upon PC Smith.
