And there is another acquittal to report tonight. 3 of 4 men - including a police officer - accused of a cab driver's murder walked free today. Policeman Peter Perez, along with Kyle Domingo and Gasman Jones are free of all charges including murder, according to a directive from the DPP.
They were accused along with one other man of stabbing Taxi Driver, Shawn Ortiz Campbell to death in Belize City in November of last year.
There was no reason given in court why the charges were withdrawn but sources suggest that the DPP could be using the three men as witnesses against the man who is now the sole accused, 47-year-old, Charles Brown, an LIU Worker.
