A police officer is spending the first night of an 8 month sentence at the Hattieville Prison tonight - after he was convicted of fondling and kissing a female colleague.
39 year old Police Officer, Brigilio Ack was today convicted of the sexual assault and sent to prison this afternoon.
The woman police officer testified, "In camera" and told the court what happened to her in March of 2023 while working with Ack at the Rocky Road Police Booth. She said he sexually assaulted her, touching her without her consent on the legs and breast and later kissing her neck. The female Police Constable said she told PC Ack to stop but he refused. In court Ack - who had no attorney - remained silent.
The Senior Magistrate of Court #2 who found him guilty and sentenced him to 8 months imprisonment.
