A teenager is out on bail tonight - after he was charged for rape. His victim is a 21 year old woman who told police she woke up in the act of being raped.
19 year old Nathan Ochoa is was arraigned on charges of rape and harm and he was was released on $5,000 dollars bail.
The victim says she invited him into her home so he could get some items he had left there but then refused to leave. She then locked herself inside her room - but claims he broke the door and attacked and raped, her leaving her with visible bruises to her face after choking her conscious.
Ochoa is a Construction Worker of Raccoon Street Extension, Belize City.
No plea was taken and he is due back in the Belize City Magistrate's Court in November 2025.
