Coast Guardsman Charged For Stabbing Police Officer Common Law Wife

A coast guard officer has been arrested and charged for Attempted Murder, Use of Deadly Means of Harm, and Wounding after he reportedly stabbed his common law wife. The incident occurred around 5:00 yesterday morning on Gibnut Street. When police arrived they found 24 year old police constable Jessica Pou unresponsive. She was rushed to the hospital and later told the police that around 3:35 that morning, she and 25 year old Brian Chiac had an argument, during which Chiac stabbed her multiple times and threatened to kill her. He was charged today.
