In November of 2021, Brian Jerry Castillo was accused of an unthinkable murder: he killed his common-law, Jennifer Archilla and her 12 year old daughter Nitzia Catzim. It happened in San Ignacio and he was captured in Guatemala a few days later. He confessed to doing it but said she wanted to harm his 7 year old son.
Well, tonight police are reporting that Castillo was found guilty on the two counts of murder. He now awaits sentencing.
