Tonight, another cop is legally challenging a transfer that his attorney says is punitive and unjustified.
This time it's Sergeant Joel Grinage - who we most recently saw working as UDP area rep Lee Mark Chang's security. Reports say he had also made contact with a key officer involved in the Budna cover up.
Well, Grinage was suddenly transferred to Roaring Creek and, now, his attorney, Audrey Grinage has written to the commissioner saying it is "unreasonable, procedurally improper, and made without lawful authority."
She says that the Department also refused to approve his Transfer Grant.
She has indicated that if the commissioner does not reconsider the transfer - she will initiate judicial review proceedings.
Grinage becomes the second officer to challenge a recent transfer - and both of them had contact with an officer involved in the Budna cover - up.
