GOB Officially Slows It Down on SARA

SARA, the Semi Autonomous Revenue Authority - at first GOB was rushing to implement it by the end of this year.

But after pushback from the business community, the unions and even an ad campaign against it, seems they are taking it slower.

That is confirmed in a letter from the Financial Secretary to the Public Service Union president saying that Government does not plan to proceed with SARA's implementation for at least the next 10 months.

He says they will also consult the PSU before they do.
