A 70 year old man was sentenced to 19 years 6 months imprisonment today after he was convicted for the rape of an 11 year old boy. Henry Hulse, a father of 3 and former deportee was convicted of forcing the child to perform sexual acts on him. He was caught by the child's older brother in the back of an old bus where it happened.

Justice Nigel Pilgrim looked at various factors, including a victim impact statement before he handed down his sentencing. Hulse also has convictions for theft, possession of control drugs, and burglary dating back to 2012. The judge ordered that his sentencing take effect from June 12, 2024
