Yesterday you heard from PC Luwis Pascascio's attorney, David McKoy, who believed that his client was being unjustly charged for aggravated assault. This is after an incident between Pascascio and another cop, Jose Mejia, which occurred when Pascascio ran a red light on Saturday. This led to an altercation during which Pascascio was injured.
And today, Pascascio, who is being represented by attorney Oscar Selgado, was read a single charge of aggravated assault upon a police officer in court.
In court, Pascascio pleaded not guilty and there was no objection to bail, which he met. He is due back in court on July 30th.
