The Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation has launched a week-long training program on reproductive technology in livestock. The sessions are set to take place at The Central farm office in the Cayo District, bringing together extension officers, UB farm field techs and representatives from the Belize Livestock Producers Association. Participants will spend the next few days learning about Integrated forage management, Nutritional conditioning of regional livestock to enhance productivity, and Capacity building to reduce inefficiencies in cattle and small ruminant milk and meat production. The program aims to contribute to the long-term resilience of Belize's agricultural sector.
