And Bonilla's wife also spoke at the rally. As she gathered to strength to honor her husband's legacy, she emphasized that he spent years studying and helping people, just for this to be his demise:

"This is something that has been really hard. What I just think and it makes me feel bad and is that he took most of his life studying, he spent 14 years in this career in medicine and he just practiced almost 7 years he was just starting and I know there's a lot of people that he's helped was on his hands and I have met a lot of people that they just tell me, I am alive because of Dr. Bonilla and I can't believe how this person came and take out his life that way so I just ask for justice and I think that this we will get who did that to him."
Area Rep Oscar Mira also spoke.
