He was only 18 years old at the time when he was charged or the murder of 21 year-old, Floyd McFadzean in March of 2025, and now he will spend the next decade of his life in prison following a sentencing hearing today.

Shenyon Barrow who pleaded down to manslaughter was sentenced today before Justice Derrick Sylvester, who gave him 10 years imprisonment for the manslaughter of Floyd Mcfadzean.

The starting point for Manslaughter was 15 years but after considering the aggravating and mitigating factors, including his guilty plea, justice Sylvester deducted from Barrow's sentence leaving him only 10 years to serve.

Crown Counsel from the DPP's office on the trial was Maria Nembhard Santana while Barrow was represented by Attorney Michael Peyreffitte.
