ASP Stacy Smith, Staff Officer

"What we have learned so far in the course of the investigation is that Pech was traveling on the highway in the direction of Guinea Grass village when he collided into the rear of a horse drawn buggy that was on the far right side of the road, this collision cause Mr Pech to swerve into oncoming traffic and a further collision occurred between him and a pick up truck that was being driven by another person."
"A notice of intended prosecution has since been served on Mr Garcia and a urine sample taken. The collision resulted in the death of Mr Pech."
"The indication so far is that the horse carriage may not have been fully on the road, it was off road and certainly questions of lighting conditions is at play but it's an ongoing investigation and as the investigation continues the media will be advised."
