She was out on bail last week for allegedly assaulting a police sergeant but today Nichole McDonald was back in court again, and this time for assaulting a doctor.
It's an ugly incident that happened at the Matron Roberts Clinic on on Saturday morning. 44-year-old Dr. Andre Lucien Castillo was attending to a patient around 11:00 a.m. when another patient, identified as Nichole McDonald, allegedly stormed into his office without permission and demanded to be seen immediately.
Police say McDonald became aggressive and allegedly punched Dr. Castillo on the left side of his face.
And so McDonald appeared before Magistrate Neeshad Mohammed this afternoon where she was read a single charge of harm upon Doctor Andre Lucien Castillo. Mcdonald pleaded not guilty to the charges and was denied bail for breaching the conditions of her previous bail. As a result she was remanded to prison. We note that Mcdonald had previously made bail last week in the sum of $4000 for a total of 6 offenses, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of common assault, one count of damage to property, one count of insulting words, and one count of wounding.
