A couple was also recently charged after police found a firearm in their house in San Pedro. ASP Smith gave us more details on the operation that led to the discovery of the weapon.

"Police have formally arrested and jointly charged Balbino Camara and Melissa Mendez of San Pedro town for the offense of kept firearm without a gun license and kept ammunition without a gun license. The arrest follows the execution of a search warrant at their residence on Wednesday by intelligence, and operations personnel which resulted in the discovery of a rugged brand 9mm pistol which contained 6 live rounds of 9mm ammunition."
