A violent domestic dispute that occurred in Punta Gorda on Tuesday has left a woman hospitalized with multiple stab wounds—but she's lucky to be alive. Police received a call from the hospital on Tuesday night where they met 39-year-old Marva Trapp suffering from five different stabbing injuries. She told police that her ex-common-law husband, Mario Noralez, had entered her home under the influence of alcohol and threatened to kill her and cut her throat. Noralez then allegedly withdrew a knife from his pocket and grabbed her, resulting in a struggle that caused her injuries. No charges have been levied as yet. Noralez reportedly violated a restraining order when he went to her house.
