The military tattoo, it used to be one of the finest September traditions, but for the past 11 years it's been absent from the September Celebrations schedule. Well, this year, it's back and will feature displays from the BDF, the Fire Department and Police. The man in charge of it all told us more:
Lt. Col. Reynold Lewis
"The program is a very exciting and enthusiastic program and each department has three to four events that they will be injecting in the program themselves. And we hope that those programs will be educational to the general public."
q:"How proud are they to partake in such an event because so many of their skills are known and so rarely demonstrated in a civilian setting?"
"I suspect they should be extremely proud of their skills. As you mentioned its not every day that those skills are displayed and so this opportunity is perfect for us in terms of the scope in presenting what we are able to do to the general public. So I suspect they are very proud of what they are able to do."
The tattoo takes place on Friday afternoon starting with a mini fair at 3:30. The show kicks off at 5:30p.m.
