Tonight, the Image Factory is premiering work from an artist who's called three countries home. But don't get it twisted, Jaunice Moreno-Beier is a down home Cayo girl, who's been around the world and has returned to show some captivating pictures. While she's an accomplished clay pottery maker in El Salvador and porcelain painter in Germany, she has brought home a collection of oil on canvas paintings. Beier says her art is reflective of her roots as a Cayo-gyal.

Jaunice Moreno-Beier, Artist
"It is what I remember from Cayo, I was born in Cayo and I remember the women with their baskets and the colors in Cayo."

"It's a combination of colors I like to create. Like this faces I created them myself."

Alfonso Noble,
So its all out of your memory?

Jaunice Moreno-Beier,
"Yes right and pictures that my husband takes when he is here. We go to the market and stuff like that and from there if I see a special person standing with a basket or something I just put them together and that's how I create my pieces."

The show presents 26 works by Beier, it will open tonight and will run until mid-January
