And we don't know what ethno-musicological bracket the next performer fits but they have already made a name for themselves in Honduras and Guatemala and with their new album the group DNA is hoping to get some of that love at home. The trio: David Aguilar, Nestor Rivero, and Alex Noralez are childhood friends who grew up on San Pedro. Their 2004 release hit number one in Guatemala and on "Segundo Capitulo" the group hopes to win over a local audience. Alex Noralez, the 'A' in DNA explains.

Alex Noralez, DNA
"Pretty much the CD, its entitled Segundo Capitulo, and that's because its our second work. Our first work was done in 2004. It did not filter itself into the Belizean market as well as we wanted to, it did in San Pedro and parts of Central America; Guatemala and Honduras. This CD that we did now, our second work, comes with a couple of tunes in English, especially because we want to filter it into the Belizean market."

David Aguilar, DNA
"All songs are more reggaeton type, Puerto Rican style and a few dancehall. Its basically mixed with reggaeton."

"Segundo Capitulo" is now in record stores. The group is planning a nationwide tour next month.
