Dell and the Sensations, they are a Belizean music institution now operating from out of Los Angeles. Since the 1970s, the family of Bel-Ams has been consistently turning out good, danceable music and this year is no different. The smart brothers have recorded a new album called "I Love Belize." What's different this year is that they are in Belize to promote it. Why? Phil and Kent Smart stopped by our studios to tell us.

Phil Smart,
"This is the 25th anniversary of independence and we want to send that message. The message is that we are a young developing country. There are a lot of bad things but there are also a lot of good things. There are more good than bad and we want to emphasize on the good."

Kent Smart,
"We are really fired up about this 25th anniversary and we want the people to get fired up for this celebration. People are going to be coming in and we want to showcase Belize. This time we want to show Belize and Belizeans showing Belize. So we think it is important that we come and participate in this celebration."

The CD won't be available until September.
