It's Music Week but that event has gotten so little publicity that for a while we thought it was in a witness protection programme. But it's not and the week ends on Saturday with a Tour de Force performance from Andy Palacio and the Garifuna Collective. It's the Watina Tour that's been playing in Europe, North America, and most recently in Mexico where the collective played before an audience of eight thousand. And while the Watina album and tour has received international raves, Andy Palacio told us that bringing it home, is what has him excited.

Andy Palacio,
"This feeling has really no parallel. The response internationally has been overwhelming but to see the response on the ground here at home has been nothing short of exhilarating and I really looking forward to delivering face to face with the Belizean public. I think our folks will be coming out for us this weekend. I have found that a large number of my new fans are from the younger generation so I think this homecoming concert, if you can call it that, is one that is going to be appealing to just everybody across the board."

Tickets for the show at the Bliss Center are $25 and $15 and they are still available.
