Virgin Statue of Lady of Fatima in Belize

Belizean Catholics have had a special visitor in the last week as the famous Virgin Statue of the Lady of Fatima has been in Belize as part of its decades-long international pilgrimage. The statue has special value for Catholics as its believers associate it with the performing of miracles. Earlier this week it made a stop in Belmopan where the Prime Minister and the mayor paid their respects.
