And not one to be left out, Bob Marley’s ultimate fan will be holding his annual tribute to bob on Sunday. We are talking of course about Dara Robinson who became famous for his bigger than life doll of Bob Marley. Well this year he will be doing it again at the MCC. But this year it will be more than just music. He is doing it for a good cause and he told us what it is.

Dara Robinson, Organizer
“The day is just about positive music and thing. I invite everybody you know. It doesn’t matter who because Bob Marley did his work and the man deserves to be remembered, especially dah Belize here because Bob Marley is not just music. Bob Marley helped thousands of people in his lifetime and he touched me and I never meet the guy yet and that is like my father figure.

The entertainment on my side – I have a DVD that Bob Marley performed, the last performance he did in Germany – June 12th 1980. That will be one of the feature. I can’t bring one of Bob Marley’s kids to Belize because I don’t have the kind of money to bring them but I will show them performing their father’s music on the big screen and then all of that will be backed up by rock hard sounds.

What I am adding to this one is that those who can afford and thing right now can things and so hard to find for dollar but I am just asking everybody who could come and drop off a can stuff and thing. My self will start it – I will have a barrel out there and I will put some can food in there and I will start it. Even if you don’t want to be a part of the show, I am just asking that people come.

All I di ask for is peace and love. Noh bring no gun, noh bring no knife, no bring no bad mind or no counterfeit. I di deal with love and all I want is for the youth to come together and show that we can come together and love each other and please mek we start help with the feeding program.”

Sunday’s show at the MCC starts at 6 and the entrance fee is $5.
