A New Mode of Women’s Empowerment

A donation from the Embassy of Taiwan is helping women to empower themselves by sewing and selling various clothing items, tote bags, décor, and more.

Several women groups received the 523 bales of fabric back in February and the Ministry of Human Development have been ensuring the fabric is put to good use.

Today, they visited the groups in Cayo and saw the items that the women have created so far. According to the minister, the items will then be put on display in the market.
