And in other news, the first Sunday of every March is International Children's Day of Broadcasting. The goal is to advocate for more programs aired at children, and to allow them to be a part of the programming process. And yesterday, two young students came to our studio to see what it's like being an interviewer and an interviewee.

Jaheem Velasquez, son of the well-known pizza maker "Breda-O," is a 16-year-old student at SJC who is actively involved in running his family's business after his father passed away. He has high hopes of expanding the business one day, but for now, his other hobbies are basketball, working out, and playing his guitar.

Velasquez interviewed young Thomas Searle. Searle is participating in this year's La Ruta Maya River Challenge alongside his father and uncle. The 10-year-old lives on Moho Caye and is attending school at Belize Elementary. His hobbies are canoeing, kneeboarding, and fishing.

Yesterday, Velasquez spoke to Searle about the upcoming race. Here is their interview:

Searle is a part of the "Seasports" team.
