UNBELIZABLUE!

Production on a new documentary called UNBELIZABLUE kicked off this Monday in Belize City.

The film, a brainchild of producer Phil Karp will focus not just on Belize's Blue economy but also on its overwhelmingly female protectors.

It's made for a unique selling point within the region and one that the UNBELIZABLUE team has centered an entire storyline around.

Our 7news team caught up with the director and the producer of the film as they interviewed central character Beverly Wade, the woman at the helm of the Blue Bondy in the office of the Prime Minister.

The filmmakers will finish the first leg of their filming this week but return in July when their focus will be based in the south.
