Sir Hilary Talks Emancipation Day

Monday is being observed as Emancipation day, and this morning on Sunup, one of the preeminent regional and global authorities on the subject joined the crew to talk about the importance of the observance and the persisting need for reparations to countries like Belize by former European slaver nations. Sir Hilary Beckles, The Chairman of the Caricom Reparations Commission shared with the hosts the status of the reparations movement and where they are headed.
