With the help of an unexpected donor, the 200 students enrolled at Stella Maris School got to enjoy a second Christmas party this year, filled with live performances, music, and food. We stopped by the school this morning to find out more about the international donor who helped to make this event possible.

Donovan Graham, CEO, Graham Foundation

"We decide to have like a Christmas dinner for the kids here at Stella Maris, the staff and the kids and at the same time give the kids a goodie bag for the holidays. The bags that we currently give them is for them to color, whatever they choose they can color whatever character is on the bag and we also have some local donors here, Paulinos funeral service and jenkins funeral service so they assisted me in getting this venture off the ground."

"Hopefully it's not the last you know. We intended to do other stuff with other schools in other parts of the country. But like i said we chose Stella Maris because as i said to my donors in new york, I think we look down on Stella Maris for whatever reason but they are very talented as you see here today the talent on the stage its like a concert. So we should not look down on Stella Maris for the name itself but we should think of them as part of society still."

Sheree Salgado, Teacher, Stella Maris

"So we are having our second Christmas party. God has blessed us this year with two so we are collaborating with Mr Donovan and also the hotel association. The Hotel Association was kind enough to donate gifts for each one of our students here today so I just want to say thanks to hotel association and for their kind donation."

"Last night because of the weather we didn't have out Christmas show so we just improvised this morning and they wanted to show off their talents yeah but after this they will be having games and dinner and then this afternoon Santa Clause will be here to deliver those gifts."
