Yesterday you heard the ComPol say the police are prepared to start towing vehicles parked along the Carnival route come next week Friday. And Minister Musa reiterated today that they also have security measures in place to ensure Belizeans have a safe Carnival.

But do the rules apply to Musa's driver - the man called Chicken Dread, whose food truck is permanently stationed at Digi Park? We asked him today.

Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs
"The police department, as you know, has been preparing for the September celebrations. We have quite the calendar ahead of us. And of course, one of the major events on the calendar is the carnival. The September Celebrations Committee has decided to reroute that carnival, along the sea coast from the lighthouse down to Marine Parade. I think it's a much safer route and an easier one to police. but at the same time, we have to have all our officers ready and prepared for any eventuality. But we are prepared."

Jules Vasquez:
"Since the carnival, when not pass through the heart of your constituency, Caribbean shores, and the traffic will all be cleared, have you exercise your mind at all to think about the the most popular eatery on Princess Margaret Drive, which is Chicken Dread. Well, they cannot move that fixity"

"I'm told that it will be relocated to Mr. Jorge Babb's parking lot. And so you can enjoy your delicious chicken, dread fried chicken and interact with the famous, Chicken Dread on that day carnival day right at Mr. Babb's parking lot."
