So, not even the counselors can stand the fighting - but the UDP has been down this path before.
In March of 2011, then Chairman Patrick Faber wrote the letter to inform Orange Walk East elected representative Marcel Cardona that he had "constructively resigned." This is after he had been publicly critical of the Barrow Administration and even spoke out against them in the House of Representatives. Faber wrote to Cardona saying he had shown, quote, "deliberate abandonment of (his) duties to the Party and a rejection of the allegiance (he) owed to the Party."
Cardona then had to go sit more or less in the corner of the house - where he famously had to don a hard hat to protect himself against projectiles thrown by UDP hecklers.
And so it is tonight; if there were a house meeting tomorrow, Tracy Panton and Patrick Faber would have to find somewhere else to sit - not on the opposition bench. We asked Musa - who is a two term parliamentarian - where he thinks that may be:
Jules Vasquez:
"When Marcel Cardona was deemed constructively resigned, they put him, I believe, on the PUP bench, the opposition bench at the time, far end. There's no space right now on the PUP bench. You'd have to go upstairs. I'm saying that just from a parliamentary perspective, where would you put these people to sit?"

"Again, that that would depend on, I guess, the leader of the opposition, if he wants to sit next to his colleagues. but if he does not, I believe Marcel Cardona, if I'm not mistaken, was placed on the government side. I can't recall."
Jules Vasquez:
"I think he was placed on the opposition."

"Put it this way. There is enough space on the opposition side for them to be right in a corner on the other set on the next side, and they won't even look like they're together. There's so much space."
Cardona went on to endorse the PUP candidate who flipped the seat to the PUP.
