And as he gets ready for his Caribbean Shores endorsement convention tonight, we also asked Musa about his Caribbean Shores competitor. Dr Nelma Mortis is the new UDP standard bearer in that division, but with a landslide loss in the last municipal elections when she ran for Mayor, does she stand a chance against the Musa political machine? We asked him today if he views her candidacy as a challenge.

Kareem Musa, Area Rep., Caribbean Shores
"I give all all challengers, all opponents equal weight, Jules, I know that at the end of the day, it is up to me to put in the kind of work as an area representative. and so it really doesn't matter who is on the other side. I have great respect for Miss Nelma in the work that she does, especially, in the field of work that I enjoy, which is social work. And so we welcome all challengers. I can see, however, that, the leader of the opposition is trying to use her somewhat as a pawn for delegates kinda thing, that's unfortunate because, I think that she truly is, of great value. And so it's unfortunate that he's using her in that way. But at the end of the day, Jules, for Caribbean Shores, I'm fairly confident that it will be another victory for the People's United Party."
