And, when we met him today he was in Orange Walk at a Ministry of Agriculture event. We saw him talking to many of the farmers - but, as it is across the country, a large portion of the agricultural sector comprises Spanish speakers. He admitted that even in his constituency of over 10 thousand voters, not speaking Spanish is a challenge:

"That by itself is a detriment and unfortunately I did not get to learn the Spanish language. I need to figure out how I can practice because across the country Spanish is spoken almost as much as English. So when I travel around, especially in my own constituency, that is a detriment but, I get along."
