Their children were caught up in the biggest cheating scandal in the school's history, but they will not be denied - parents of Muffles College fourth formers say they will have a graduation - even if it means bypassing the school administration.
Apparently, after meetings with the school administration and board, the parents have decided that they have to do their own thing. The administration is firm in its decision that it will not have a graduation ceremony and will only hold a mass, highlighted with a speech on honesty and morality, and then distribute the diplomas without ceremony. Well the parents have decided to largely boycott that event and just send some parents to pick up all the diplomas. Then, the following week on June 26th the parents have organized their own graduation with a diploma handing out ceremony and doing the honors will be former Principal Leliz Carballo who presided over Muffles for about 25 years.
And while the parents acknowledge that there was theft and mass circulation of the final exam, that theft was facilitated by a corrupt teacher and additionally, the students have already been punished with the cancellation of their prom.
