BNTU Calls For Sadie Vernon High Board To Resign

School continued as normal at Sadie Vernon High today after a Friday when classes were disrupted and school was dismissed at ten am.

Now The Belize National Teachers' Union has weighed in on the issue. A statement issued this afternoon calls for the resignation of the members of the School Board because - in the BNTU's opinion - they have failed. BNTU also calls on the Ministry of Education to form a Committee with representation from the Ministry the Union and the Belize Association of Principals for Secondary School to serve as the mediators.
