For months now, Orson Picart and his colleagues from the Aspire For Greatness Foundation have been fundraising for their Christmas Tablet Donation event. It's an idea from the members to raise money in the hopes of providing quality electronics for online learning to needy students from Belize City.
Today, the selected schools and students gathered at the Radisson Fort George Hotel for the handing-over of the devices. Here's what the Aspire For Greatness Foundation members had to say to the recipients and the kind donors who helped to make the endeavour a success:
The True Belizean Organization and Jahvy International out of Ladyville played an important logistical role in getting the devices into the country. Picart also thanked the Ministry of Finance for its aid.
