Teachers, Only You Can Stop Trafficking

Pathlight Belize, Spotlight Initiative and UNICEF today came together to launch the E-Course for Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse, Human Trafficking and Family Violence on the Teacher Learning Institution.

It was a long-awaited launch to celebrate the E-course that's been taken by over 2000 teachers with the expectation that many more will be now able to sign up for the course.

7News attended the launch and got to hear about the course first-hand from Pathlight personnel and a teacher who's made use of it in her own classroom.
