Today, eight students let out a sigh of relief as they were awarded scholarships that will help them as they move into a new form. Some of these students were already part of this initiative by the Community Policing Unit, while for others, this is their first time receiving it.

But regardless, these children were chosen from single parent and deserving households, and they say that this financial assistance gives them the motivation to excel.
