Children from across all districts of the country gathered today to attend the annual BDF Cadet Camp, organized by the Belize Defense force at the Hattieville government school. The aim of the camp is to engage the children in BDF related exercises and classes. From map reading, to first aid care, and drills, children, ages 9- 16 will get the full BDF experience from active officers themselves. We attended the open day exhibition today and took a deeper look at what's going on inside the camp.

We asked the kids today for their feedback on the camp and what it is that they learned from the classes and activities.

A total of 329 children attended the Camp.
