BWS And Stella Maris Sign MOU For Occupational Therapy Room

In February 2025, when little Pablo Orellano went missing from Stella Maris and tragically drowned, the special needs school was engulfed in scandal.

Now, 13 months later, you can see heavy construction underway at the school. Of course a major retrofitting like that does not come cheap. But thanks to a partnership with Belize Water Services, the Ministry of Education signed a memorandum of understanding today, securing a significant investment that will go towards the construction of a much needed physical therapy and occupational therapy room. Here are the highlights from that signing today.
