And from the discussions about climate change risks to coastal communities, we turn now to a ceremony yesterday, which was held to celebrate the commissioning of brand-new automated Hydrological Stations installed along the New River watershed.

The automated stations will provide timely and accurate information such as water level and corresponding flow rate. That data is used for many hydrological studies, including flood and drought forecasting and infrastructure design. In addition, these stations will strengthen the Flood Early Warning System in the area.
