Storm Battered Zoo Gets BTB Donation

Earlier this month, we showed you the condition of The Belize Zoo post hurricane Lisa. Most of its vegetation was ripped out of the ground and its trees were blocking the pathways, making it near impossible to traverse.

And with its doors closed for the remainder of the month, it needs all the help it can get. And BTB is doing just that. today, the director of Tourism, Evan Tillett, presented a cheque for $10,000 to Conservation Program Manager, Jamal Andrewin Bohn, and Tropical Education Center Manager, Diana Perez.
