Assessment Of Aggressor’s Reef Damage Ongoing

Today, the Chief Environmental Officer confirmed that the Belize Aggressor has been moved off the reef from where it was grounded near Lighthouse Caye.

He says the detailed assessment has been done and a report is being prepared. He adds that the environmental officer is analyzing the info in terms of area impacted, coral damaged and overall coral health to, quote, "ascertain if we will need to recover cost of damages as per the environmental laws."
