And while forestry enforcement isn't optimal - Habet says they will be bringing charges - and that the village will benefit from the logs which were unlawfully extracted from within their village boundary:
Orlando Habet, Minister of Sustainable Development
"The forest Department has sought the assistance from our legal counsel. All that has been worked out. They're going to be levying charges. I can't tell you what it is now, but that has happened. On the positive side, I think that the material that was taken out of Boston Village, the chairperson and village council have asked for us to consider, that they get some of those materials, they can't get it free of cost because the cost they have to pay the royalty and maybe a small cost that has to be placed to it, but they will be given some materials for them to have the opportunity to do the bid, replenishment or refurbishment of their, village council building, maybe, repairs to the schools or whatever to the church, whatever it is that they can use it for."
